Isn’t it great?
I think… everyone has it. Inside every heart lies something so deep, so… universal. Inside every heart is a ridiculously compelling force called the “desire to love and be loved”. And believe me - it really does compel someone to do ridiculous things. It makes you do things you would never imagine. It makes you feel like you can do anything. Did you hear that? My god, did you hear that? Like really. a DESIRE to LOVE and BE LOVED. Everyone. Every single person.
If every single person realized this, if every single person found it in their heart and mind to love, then wouldn’t they naturally be loved too? You can give someone the chance to be happy. to have hope. You can give someone the chance to… find out who they really are. It’s funny. haha. yeah, its funny how just the simple fact that people don’t realize this is stopping the world from being completely different.
In every thief, there is a list of people they would never steal from. In every convict, there is a crime that they just cannot convict. In every politician, a moral code they cannot break. In every teacher, a rule that they choose to abandon so the students are happier. In every kid, a naive fantasy of love and a dreamy crush. In every adolescent, a longing feeling of emptiness. and in every adult, the worry of not finding the one before it is too late. You see, everyone is capable of loving. But not only that, everyone is capable of desiring love when they dont have it.
So love freely. Can you do that? Love freely. Don’t say no to love just because you feel like it wont work out. Only say no to love when you know it won’t work out. Give it a chance. Surprise yourself. Love is nothing without the surprise. And without love, your heart will always be missing something.
Love freely. People always say there are plenty of fish in the sea. But what people don’t say is that there are actually a lot of them that could be meant for you. It just depends on who you let in to your heart. That’s when it becomes tricky, when it becomes singularly unique. Do yourself a favor. Do the other person a favor. Jump. Leap. eyes closed but arms wide open.
Fall in love. so what if it doesn’t last? You can just try again. There’s always another chance. So take a shot. what do you have to lose? Everyone has that same desire. If you want someone that much then go and get that person, because chances are, with all your hard work, they will realize just how much… they might want you too.
